Gilbert Co Model 8B Train Transformer 100 Watts with the original box (good condition). No manual but has the instructions hookup. The unit is cosmetically in very good clean condition. It has some minor scratches on the top plate, bottom plate, & a few on the transformer side body. No rust, dents, or cracks can be found. It has not been operated in many years, but I have "no reason" to believe it is not fully operational. It has not been checked other than to plug it in and observe the unit was humming, the green light came on. I used my meter for testing. Readings were 0 - 7 - 15vac to the track control posts and 15vac to the constant post.

Voltage steadily increases from the 7 - 15 range. No further testing was performed. The electrical cord & plug is in very good condition and doesn't look to be dry rot, fragile fraying, cuts, or taped. It will not need to be replaced.

This would be a great piece and great addition to one's collection of American Flyer. This is a fairly heavy unit weighs approx.
